چکیده

This paper describes an accelerated resource allocation of autonomous moving multi-agents, whose agents stochastically move on a resource consisting of cells in accordance with transition probabilities in synchronization, depending on other agents. Then, each agent has an accelerated average moving speed for their moving directions randomly and independently. We assume interactions or coordination among agents such that the agents can not move to a destination cell occupied by agents more than the agents of a current cell. Then it is ideal that every cells are always occupied by agents, because of the efficient use of resources, and it is desirable to be the fewest expected number of cells not occupied by agents. The first result of this paper is that the resource utilization of accelerated moving multi-agents with appropriate average moving speed becomes higher than the resource utilization of moving multi-agents without average moving speed. Then the resource utilization can be accelerated to maximum by giving appropriate accelerated moving speed. The second result shows that the maximum utilization of the resources are analyzed, and we present the optimal accelerated moving speed of system-specific.

An Accelerated Resource Utilization in Autonomous Stochastic Mobile Multi-Agents

This paper describes how to coordinate autonomous mobile multi-agents, whose agents stochastically move over a finite resource consisting of cells in accordance with transition probabilities. We assume there are interactions or coordination among agents such that (1) each agent cannot move to a destination cell occupied by agents more than the agents of a current cell and (2) their agents have ...

Resource Acceleration of Autonomous Stochastic Moving Multi-Agents with Boundary Effects

Autonomous stochastic moving multi-agents are not easy to analyze the behavior of them. We consider a resource consisting of cells arranged along lines, and restrict moving ranges of agents at each step so that their agents have time-lag. We assume there are interaction among agents, so each agent can not move to destination cells when their cells are occupied by agents more than the agents of ...

Robust supply chain coordination modeling: A revenue management perspective

The revenue management concept and techniques are applied to model the coordination of supply chain elements. The fundamental premise of this approach is synchronization of a group of business entities consist-ing of a manufacturer and multiple suppliers to achieve an optimal supply chain capacity plans. The output of the supply chain can be various products and thus it is measured in terms of ...

A Multi Objective Fibonacci Search Based Algorithm for Resource Allocation in PERT Networks

The problem we investigate deals with the optimal assignment of resources to the activities of a stochastic project network. We seek to minimize the expected cost of the project include sum of resource utilization costs and lateness costs. We assume that the work content required by the activities follows an exponential distribution. The decision variables of the model are the allocated resourc...
